About

An Intentionally Multi-Ethnic Congregation in a Famously Multi-Ethnic City

Grace Point Community Church is a ministry located in the Macadam corridor in Tukwila, WA. Rev. Dr. Kent Murahashi and his wife Cathy founded this work in November 2002 for the purpose of reaching people of all cultures and ethnicities for Jesus Christ. Grace Point Community Church is an Urban Impact Seattle Community HUB, and a proactive component of the Church of Tukwila.

Our church is:

  • The point where we are met in love and acceptance;
  • The place from where we spring out to make a difference in the community and in the world.

Vision

To be a cross-cultural church that is an example of reconciliation to the world.

To become a training center for deployment to all corners of the world, first, to the people groups represented in the congregation, and second, to new congregations. To mobilize missionaries both locally and globally to be sent out to fulfill the Great Commission.

Mission

To be a place where unchurched families from all cultures join together to exalt God, and be equipped and empowered to impact the community and the world for Christ.

Purpose

GATHERING. . . to worship together and to meet others in a loving, caring and accepting setting.

GROWING. . . by exploring together the answers to these questions: Who is Jesus? And what does He mean in my life today?

GOING . . . out and sharing this love we experience together with our community and our world.
